I am a mature professional and offer considerable experience in working with children of all ages. I have taught as a Reading Specialist, Special Educator, ESOL Coordinator and two years as a First Grade teacher. I have extensive knowledge in working with Pre-k to 8th grade and understand the process that children go through in their development and learning. I am skilled in classroom behavior management as well as having a strong educational background that supports students varying learning styles and academic levels. Students individual needs are supported by differentiated instruction, learning centers, as well as instruction that utilizes Blooms Taxonomy and Howard Gardner¡¯s multiple intelligences. I work to create an inviting, safe and nurturing class that students want to come to everyday.
