One of my favorite experiences teaching was tutoring at Hudson County Community College.  I had the privilege of being able to help a diverse group of students on a weekly basis try to achieve their own educational goals.  That experience helped me grow both as a teacher and a student because it taught me that everyone does not learn the same way.  I was forced to think critically and find ways to accommodate each student’s needs.  I did this by coming up with different teaching techniques that catered to each student’s learning preference.  The greatest reward that came out of the experience was hearing that the students were able to apply their newly acquired knowledge and pass their classes.  This reinforced my passion to help others and be a part of something I believed in.  In addition to that I spent a semester teaching English to children in South Korea; as well as my entire life teaching English to my parents.  I had to constantly reinvent lessons and myself to keep the children motivated.  I knew the key was to keep them interested by determinedly engaging them into the lessons.  My enthusiastic, patient, kind, knowledgeable, and perseverant nature will ensure the children are given the best lesson possible each time.       

To whom it may concern:

I am writing to inquire about possible openings in Korea as an elementary school teacher. I am interested in an entry level position offering room for advancement.  I want to be able to grow with the same school and become an expert in my industry.  In five years I would like to get up to a position of responsibility, where I can deal with bigger programs and reach more children.

As a former student of tutor and teacher, I am eager to contribute my abilities and hard work ethic.  I trust my ability to work in a team environment will benefit the school.  I have in depth experience dealing with you children.  I am confident that I can quickly learn as I go and motivate the children to gain a thirst for learning English.  I am enthusiastic about working and dedicating myself to help other people.  I believe all these skills would make me an ideal candidate.
