Hi, my name is Michelle Kim from Sydney, Australia.
I have completed CELTA and TESOL course early this year and have made decision to start my teaching career in motherland, South Korea.
With Korean background, I always adored life as a language teacher since I was young. Although the Bachelor's degree at Australian Institute of Music (AIM) predominantly focused on music industry, my capability of speaking Korean, English and Japanese, changed my mindset towards something more than just music.
Apparently, English is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world. Many people want to learn English as a second language to become successful in many aspects. English teachers are in demand in many countries, especially along with grade school and colleges in South-East Asia. It came to conclusion that I would explore my teaching career in Korea where I can enjoy the most and contribute the most knowledge and skills in to help those who strive to learn English as a second language.
I believe one of the glamourous aspects about Korea is that competitive pay with a relatively low cost of living makes teaching English in Korea ideal for traveling, saving money and exploring the rich culture of this vibrant country. While teaching abroad can be the first stepping stone towards building career experience in the field of education, not only do I look forward to gain professional development, but to become part of a local community and enjoy many exciting opportunities in Korea.
Thank you for your consideration towards my application. I will look forward to good news.
Best Wishes
Michelle Kim |
