Ä¿¹ö·¹ÅÍ/À̷¼­ Dear School administrator,
This is Neptune. I am interested at your teaching vacancy. I was educated in New
Zealand for ten years. In the most sensitive age for knowledge acquiring, I was aspired
by the affectionate and lively teaching style. It was one of the top class places in the
world for education. Throughout my four and a half years of university life, I found
great interest in learning and behaviors. Especially when first I was having only
interest in learning some Japanese, I discovered teaching method affects how well
can one learner and acquire the second language. Hence then, I attended a course of
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
Although I have been tutoring privately ever since I entered university, training with
TEFL is of completely different category. I learnt a lot in class management and
assessment. Nonetheless, teaching English in Korea does not involve much
assessment, management of class differentials is critical. I was amazed when I was
using a lot from what I had learnt.
Looking back on my experiences, one may ask why has there been living in many
places. For once I did question myself, too, but the answer is simple and straight
forward; I wish to experience as much in how different people learn their second
language. It has been very worthwhile.
For my current goal, I¡¯m having a break in teaching all the time. Reversely, I¡¯m having
myself in the learning side. I do believe, I can teach better with enough realization in
how learner feels. It is not easy for getting into a completely different category, but I
am very satisfied in myself knowing much more about how beginner learns. And now, I
am trying to illustrate all that I have learnt up till now. Please do put it into
consideration that my wide experiences are potential treasure to any learners.
