Ä¿¹ö·¹ÅÍ/À̷¼ To Whom It May Concern: My wife Savannah Fink and I greatly desire to teach English in Seoul Korea at a private school. We have many friends whom are currently teaching in Seoul which we feel has allowed us to gain realistic expectations of the city and it's schools. We love both the Korean people and their food. We desire to immerse ourself in their culture. For the past several years I have been broadening my skills as a teacher through my previous position as a Youth pastor at Temple Baptist Church, and my most recent position as an Applied Behavioral Analysis Line Therapist at the South Carolina Early Autism Project (SCEAP). My time at SCEAP has proven to be beneficial in that much of the work I did with the Autistic children includes the implementing of reading, writing, and speech programs. Much of my course load in the university was geared towards teaching young children. Classes such as Issues in Contemporary Youth Culture, Field Education in Teaching Junior High, Communicating to Youth, Applied Youth Leadership, Counseling Youth & Families, etc. have all well-prepared me to be in the classroom. I have also recently earned a TEFL certificate and have put in 2 years of experience teaching youth as a part of my university¡¯s Youth Ministry Field Education program. A major strength that I would bring to a School is the heart that I have for the education of children. I believe that all children have the potential for growth and I receive so much joy from being a part of that growth. I am also sensitive to the different learning styles that children have and am skilled at meeting the individual needs that are caused by these differing styles. I look forward to an opportunity to be teaching in Seoul and I hope to be hearing from an agent in the near future. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Matthew A. Fink
