ESL Agent Daehan BLD #202, 121-173 Dangsandong 6ga, Youngdeungpogu, Seoul, Korea 14 December 2011 To whom it may concern: I am writing you because I am extremely interested in working as an ESL teacher in Korea. I am interested in beginning the interview process as soon as possible. I am available between 8:30am and 3:30pm Monday to Thursday. Please use the contact information above to inform me of a convenient interview time. I will do an excellent job in this position because 1. I have experience with the Korean culture 2. I have experience managing and assisting Korean youth and enjoy the challenge and problem solving required in such positions 3. I have extensive experience teaching and assisting members of the general public of all ages 1. I have lived in Korea since September 2011. Over this time I have been working at the Korea international school, Jeju Campus. In this position, I have begun to learn Hangul, I have immersed myself in the Korean culture and I have developed a love for Korea. 2. Currently I am a member of the boarding staff. In this position, I am constantly contemplating how different parts of my boarders¡¯ daily routine can be made more efficient or can be used to further promote the boarding school¡¯s aims. My enthusiasm for my current position has enabled me to develop the skills necessary to manage groups of students in an effort to promote correct social, emotional and academic oriented behaviors. I believe my passion and skills will translate from boarding to the classroom and will enable me to be an excellent and dedicated teacher. 3. Prior to coming to Korea, I worked with a wide array of the general public from geriatrics to doctors to juvenile offenders. Through this work I developed excellent professionalism and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with various administrations. The flexibility and adaptability that I learned in these settings make me an asset to any school. I recently, obtained a visa to work in South Korea and so I understand the Visa process. Presently, I have a copy of my FBI background check from 7/8/2011 that found no arrest record. I also have an apostilled copy of my diploma. I have requested copies of my college transcript.
