I am a British Citizen with five years experience of teaching English in Korea in all age ranges.
Korean Immigration Law requires that iI obtain Subject Access Rights from our Police Force. This is in process.
Also in process is two sealed copies of University transcripts from the University of Liverpool.
All the original documents are with myself.
I have obtained the E2 VISA from the Korean Embassy in London before, and I know the process well.
I have taught in four schools in Korea, at Busan, Incheon, Gwanju City and Gwangyang (near Yeosu).
There are references available, especially from Mr Shin Bong-Kwan at GnB, Gwangyang (see cv).
I am English but teach in an American accent, am 48 years old. I need no syllabus if you require me to change classes with 5 minutes notice.
I can teach conversation, dictation, English AND American pronunciation. I am very professional and extremely popular with the students.
In my five years, I have only had one student cry in class (his name was Sydney from Busan, but he soon saw the funny side - he was laughing again in minutes!).
I address each student every day with their English names (It can take up to 3 months to learn their faces in a big school), as I feel it is my duty to get to know each student personally.
I am a people person, quick to improvise, fun with kids, and very knowledgeable. I have travelled to 15 countries and married to a Filipina who will join me next year in Korea.
My past jobs have included Scientist (I am a PhD in Physics), Writer, IT Consultant, Computer Programmer, and of course Teacher.
I am sure I can offer you a sterling service, advice to your Korean teachers, and successful students.

Salary - Anything above 2.3 million KRW.
I can speak enough Korean to control classes and I ALWAYS keep students interested, often acting or mimicking their culture.
I am available just as soon as the documents above (Police and transcripts) can be processed (two weeks) and then the VISA can be applied for (maybe 1-2 more weeks). Sooner if necessary.
