I am interested in applying for a teaching position at a school in the Seoul area. As a 2005 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, I have since gained teaching experience on the elementary, middle school, and adult level, in both Korea and Brazil.
At the present time I am teaching theme-related English to children and conversational English to adults. This position gives me the opportunity to provide my elementary-aged students with a “head start” in mastering basic English skills. It also enables me to work with adults who need English for practical reasons such as work and interviewing for jobs. With this job, I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.
