To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great enthusiasm that I am applying for consideration in working as an ESL instructor at your institution. Having several years of teaching experience in Korea, Taiwan, and Canada, I consider this a career and not just another job. I maintain a professional attitude at all times and I am looking for a place where I can make a difference. I am currently working in Korea, and will be available to begin a new contract in September, 2011.
One of the most effective ways that I assist ESL students is by allowing them to practice their English in a supportive and well-structured environment. I acquired my TESOL Certificate to broaden my ability to teach in a wider range of schools, while my focus has always been in coming up with creative and dynamic activities that allow learners to gain the confidence they need to use their burgeoning language skills.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my skills and experience with you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Lawrence Whalen |
