I graduated from the University of Regina with a degree in English with a minor in Sociology.
I also spent this summer working as an English teacher at a camp in Yeoju. I worked with children from the ages of 6-15 and it was such an amazing experience. I am confident in my abilities as an english teacher and I know that I would be an amazing full-time english teacher. |

To Whom It May Concern:
Hello, my name is Kent Farago and I am highly interested in a position as an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Regina, where I completed my Bachelor¡¯s degree in English and obtained a minor in Sociology. In addition to my studies, I spent most of my extracurricular time working at the university newspaper The Carillon. While working at The Carillon, I have had the pleasure of attending numerous journalism seminars and conferences to help fully utilize my communications skills.
I would like to teach abroad because I feel that it would be an incredible way for me to put my English degree to good use. Having the ability to teach someone a new language is a gift and it would be a waste for me not to use it. Teaching abroad is also an excellent way to travel and see the world, and I feel that it would be an incredibly enriching experience. I have a fascination with the cultures of the world and I don¡¯t think there is any better way to learn about a culture than to immerse oneself in it.
I have had previous experience teaching English in South Korea and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I worked with children from the ages of 6 through 15 and I am fully confident in my skills as an English teacher.
I have enclosed my resume for further review and I feel that it will summarize my qualifications, experiences and training that are necessities for the position of English Teacher.
I look forward to scheduling an interview with you in regards to this position. Thank-you for your time and I look forward to speaking with you in the near future.
Sincerely,
Kent Farago
