To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Julie Lee and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a little bit of myself to you.

With globalization of the world, English has become such a dominant language in our society. I understand that many Korean institutions demand high level of English understanding; leading Koreans to spend many hours trying to master the art of the English language for many different purposes. Even though students put many hours studying, most of them will not be fluent after studying for over 10 years. I¡¯d like to make a small difference in young children in this matter.

I believe the quality of good teaching material is not limited to teaching new vocabulary or grammar, but also in making the experience useful and enjoyable for students. No matter how great the information is, if the material is too complicated and hard to understand, it will be useless. The information should not be limited in the language itself but something beyond. As a graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD), I have a creative mind. As the assistant manager at Windsor Music Cafe, I have organized events, scheduling time, inventory, managed liaisons between people, overlooking the smooth operation of the business for over a number of years. Due to my industrial design background, researching and project planning are also my strong points. As the Monday hands-on teacher at the Royal Ontario Museum Toronto, I had the opportunity to interact with students to teach them about reptiles. It involved the elicitation of scientific facts using hands-on materials, the useful information of reptiles and answering the student¡¯s questions. As a native English teacher at public schools in Korea, I created teaching materials and helped with school exams. More than anything I enjoy teaching.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any more information. I thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Julie Lee
