Objective

I am looking for a new teaching position in the Seoul Metropolitan area teaching kindergarten, elementary, middle, or high school aged students. Ideally I would like an afternoon position. I am available to start work on June 21^st 2011. I am currently employed as an English teacher in Daegu at an after school hagwon.

§  Teaching English conversation, grammar, reading and writing to students between the ages of 10 thru 16. Classes focused on debate-style conversation, essay writing, speeches and presentations. Work often included producing new material for classes such as stories, essays and news articles that students read and reported on. I also co-wrote several text books for middle school classes.

§  Job responsibilities included conducting interviews with participants over the telephone. Many of the interviews dealt with education and health problems, so speaking in a clear understandable tone was a necessity. I would also need to fill out question forms while simultaneously talking to the clients and participants. Bi-weekly meetings were held with the contracted companies representatives.
