Joel Bleakney

44-14 Itaewon Dong, Yongsan Gu

Seoul, Korea

Date: 20th February, 2011

Dear Sirs,

For the school year of 2011-2012 I am looking for a position in the Seoul metropolitan area.  I have my Bachelors degree and am currently working with children age 2-7 years old.  Due to changing circumstances at my school, where I have been working for four years, I am now seeking a new opportunity. (Reference from my current employer is available on request.)

I have been teaching in Korea since 2002 and have worked with a variety of different age groups.  I enjoy teaching all levels and am able to tailor the lessons to the age group that I am working with.  I believe that an important part of teaching is making the lessons not only educational, but also interesting and enjoyable for the students.

My teaching philosophy is to provide an environment that makes the learning process accessible and intriguing to the students.  I also try to get the parents involved in the learning process as this motivates the students to do their best work.

I will be available for a new position at the end of March.  All of the necessary paperwork for an E2 visa will be gathered by then and I will be in country after the 25th. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Joel P. Bleakney
