I am looking for an academy needing an experienced teacher where I can continue to grow my skills. I have a year's experience teaching at a hagwon, and have been teaching for a public high school since September, so I am familiar with teaching Korean students, how to teach them, and manage the classroom. I would stay at the high school, however my wife and I are expecting our first child, so we need to make more money to provide for our child. The high school knows I will be leaving because I cannot fit a part-time position in with the hours required at the high school. The academy that hires me is going to get a hard-working teacher, dedicated to the school. I can guarantee that I will be there for the contract and hopefully longer because I need a stable working situation that allows me to take care of my important personal responsibilities. I'm going to be the hardest working teacher in your school. Other teachers are not going to be as motivated as I am to work hard. Think about it, a teacher who views working at your school as a job, a career, as a way to provide for his family, versus a teacher who is in Korea for a year or two mainly to just experience the culture and have fun. Six months from now I am going to be just as motivated as a new teacher in the first month of the contract. I will always have a reason to work hard, and will always work hard. In hiring me you will have a teacher who gets students to work hard and try their best in class. Students will learn English, and go home to tell their parents they had fun in class and love learning English. My goal is to be the best teacher I can and get the most out of my students, and I hope I can do that for your academy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have, I hope to hear from you soon.
