To Whom This May Concern:
Hi, my name is John Bevans and I am a US native teacher currently living in Korea seeking a new contract ASAP. My current school is experiencing financial hardship and is forced to lay off half of its staff, including myself. Unfortunately, I have to break my contract (that was signed on November 7th) but my employer agreed to cooperate in granting me a release letter and transferring all other necessary documents needed for employment. I am confident to find a new place of employment that possesses stability and a great reputation.
I moved to Korea in late October 2009 and have experience teaching kindergarten - junior high students. Previous employers have described me a conscientious worker who manages time wisely and fully engages students' interest with an effective, creative learning environment. I am 100% dedicated to what I do, accept criticism constructively, work well independently (as well as in groups), and am always open to new and exciting teaching methods. I will have completed my 150-hour TESOL certification (ITAA accredited) by mid-late January.
I strongly feel that I would be an excellent addition to your school's program. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding my other qualifications.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
John B. |
