Allow me to express my interest in the English teacherposition. I found out about the position through the eslagent.net job board and it really caught my attention. This would be a great opportunity for me to continue to gain experience and knowledge in TEFL while working in an international environment.
This position would be a great fit for me because of the leadership abilities I have developed through cycling, teaching, and the healthcare industry. I have been passionate about cycling since I joined my university¡¯s cycling club and racing team in 2007. I was also the vice-president in my last semester of university. The team taught me valuable lessons such as always trying your hardest and never giving up. From 2010 to 2012 I taught English in South Korea, which taught me a lot about myself as well as how to thrive in a different environment and culture. During my time in Korea I gained great presentation skills and expanded my leadership abilities through being self-sufficient in my lesson planning and navigating life in Korea. Teaching in South Korea has also taught me how to work through the numerous challenges of dealing with cultural differences whether they be professional or personal. Finally, my knowledge of community health and human growth in psychology will allow me to adapt to the rapid growth and change in a professional environment.
I am also sending my resume along with this letter, so please review it for my other qualifications. I will contact you in the next few weeks to ensure that you have received my information. If there is anything else that you need for me to do, in order to be considered for this position, please contact me at 770-557-7811 or jercape@gmail.com. I would be glad to answer any further questions that you have. Thank you for considering my candidacy for this position. I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
