An important quality in my character is passion. First, it is a
passion for the English language, which has served as the powerful
motivation in my studies. I believe that there is another aspect
about my passion—the impulse to share my knowledge with others.
This impulse to share with others has led me to believe that the
opportunity with your company would best suit me and help me
develop a better understanding of how sharing this knowledge really
has an impact on others lives. I simply want to share with others
my passions, in particular my passion for life in general and all the
opportunities we can have.
It is well-said that "for education to be an enriching experience, the
meanings that emerge must become personal, and they must be
significant and important in some part of the person's life." My
concept of a teacher is that a teacher should not merely act as
a gateway to knowledge. A person can become a better
teacher by influencing students with his or her passion,
enthusiasm, and dedication, by exposing students to the
beauty of the things that are being taught. As a future teacher, I
will try to be not only very competent in imparting professional
knowledge but also skilful in imbuing my instructing skill with an
inspiring passion. I will make my experience on this programme a
lifelong benefit to students and a spiritual reward to myself.
Taking Political Science at University has shown me the importance
of language and the limitations in which it imposes on such activities
such as Diplomacy and International Relations. In my opinion,
language is a limitation, a limitation which can restrict the
opportunity of every person that lacks this skill. With English being
one of the world's most widely spoken languages, we can see how
the English language can open a vast window of opportunity for an
individual. My studies have made me see the importance of
communication and where this has been lost resulting in bad
Diplomatic and International Relations between different cultures.
English in Korea is a very important tool which opens this vast
window for the youth of Korea and will have very significant long
term benefits.
I make this application with a real genuine interest in being a teacher
