I look at myself as an easygoing, happy-go-lucky person who loves to enjoy life to its fullest. Keeping healthy and fit are things I like to do in my spare time as well as a love for art and design, music and enjoying outdoor activities. I have lived and worked in South Korea for over six years. The time spent here has been a great adventure and a place that I have grown to love over the years. Korea has a vastly rich cultural background full of wonderful people, delicious food and a fast growing economy, which I have watched prosper over the years. Korean children are so smart and very energetic. I love to have fun with them and watch them grow, in both mind and body. It is always a great feeling for a teacher to observe when a student actually learns something and does well. Motivating and encouraging others by my own positive example, doing my best in everything, and never being afraid to ask for help when needed are some of the values I strive for in life. A favorite quote and motto of mine is: “ If you sit in the middle of the road, eventually you will get run over. ” Basically meaning ‘don’t wait for things to happen, get out there and make it happen’. I hope to inspire a creative and positive way of dealing with the various problems that are a part of everyone’s lives. |
