To whom it may concern,
I am writing regarding my interest in an E.S.L teaching position. I have experience and am interested in developing my teaching skills further.
I graduated from Dalhousie University in May 2006 with a major in Community Design. During this time, I also took various English classes where I was exposed to a variety of literature and developed my critical writing skills. Following the completion of this program, I completed a year at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design where I continued to study the practice of design as well as fine arts.
In January 2008, I completed a year of teaching English as a second language to children in South Korea. During this time I was faced with many challenges and responsibilities that have helped develop my people skills and desire to work with others.
Outside of my education and work education, I am actively engaged in creative writing in the form of free verse and poetry. I possess a variety of skills and feel I would be a suitable employee as well as a great contributor to your team.
Should you require any additional information I can be contacted at the phone number listed below.
