Dear Sir or Madam:
I am a Canadian currently finishing my contract as a kindergarten and elementary English teacher at a hagwon in Seoul. I arrived in October 2007 and will be successfully completing my contract at the end of this month. I am currently in the process of searching for a new job, and am writing to express an interest in your recruiting services.
I am returning to Canada to visit family, and will not be available to come back to Seoul until at least mid-January 2009. I am writing to enquire if you have any positions available which would begin in late January or early February. I am looking for a position with the following criteria: 1) I would like working hours that begin no earlier than 10:30 or 11:00 am, and finish in late afternoon/early evening; 2) I would like to stay as close to central Seoul as possible, and; 3) the usual perks such as airfare, housing, etc.
I believe I can provide excellent references from my current teaching job. I have enjoyed my year as a teacher in Seoul and look forward to continuing my time here in Korea.
If you have any such positions that meet the above criteria, and that begin in late-January or Feburary 2009, I would be very interested hearing more about them.
