Taught sessions on using technology in the classroom to K-12 teachers. Worked with K-12 students to create a variety of media projects. Developed educational online video games, produced online educational videos, and devised video web presence for Advanced Learning Technologies in Education Consortia - a leading developer of K-12 education web technologies and professional development. Coordinated Interactive Video Conferencing teaching, and created a variety of graphic, audio and video media to support wide variety of online educational tools. 2005 to present.

To Whom it May Concern,

I am an American citizen currently seeking employment as an ESL instructor in Seoul or the area surrounding Seoul. I have completed an 100 hour+ TEFL certification course and am very excited to start teaching in Korea. I will be going to Korea with my girlfriend who has a job teaching in Toechon-myeon, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. I would like to find a position within an hour of her if possible

For the last five years I have worked for the School of Education at the University of Kansas. I have taught teachers how to use technology in their classrooms. I have also taught students how to create media. Along with teaching I have developed educational materials for online learning.

I am very interested in learning more about Korean culture. I visited the country last summer and had a wonderful experience. Several of my peers are currently ESL instructors in Seoul, and they suggested that this position would be a good fit for me.

In addition to the work history outlined on my resume, I have plenty of volunteer experience working with groups of children. For the past five years, through my employer I have volunteered to work with groups of sixth graders (ages 11 - 12) to develop multimedia content for a yearly contest. I also spent one week serving as an assistant teacher in an inner-city school in Philadelphia, PA as part of a spring break volunteer program. I have also participated in the GROW garden program at my university, which involved working with grade school children (ages 5 - 10) to plant gardens around the city.

I am efficient, disciplined, and love helping others. I thrive working in situations that require adaptability and collaboration. I am highly eager and interested in this position, and hope to hear from you soon.
