It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume in consideration for a position as an ESL Teacher in your country. I have researched and networked with a variety of teachers about teaching English in your country and am confident this is the right place for me. I also respect and love the Korean culture and want to learn more.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts History Degree as well as TESOL/TESL certification from Oxford Seminars. Through the course I attained solid communication and presentation skills, coupled with a formative understanding of various teaching language methodologies. This gives me the ability to adapt to different students and environments to ensure they get the best possible return on their investment.
My approach to teaching English is to engage and activate students by providing relevant, practical and fun activities where learning can occur naturally. Of course, regular instruction and repetition have their place but should be used interchangeably to keep things fresh and interesting.
