I am a motivated, trustworthy and hardworking young person who is eager to come to Korea and teach English. Teaching is a highly rewarding career and helping young Koreans learn English is going to be very gratifying. I am aware of the challenge of moving to a new country and teaching English, however as an ambitious person, I see this as a good opportunity to show my ability to adapt to new challenges. I look forward to encouraging students to speak English with confidence so that they can use their language skills to progress their careers. I have started reading and researching on how to teach English as a foreign language so that I am better prepared for when I arrive in Korea. I hope I can enrich student’s lives so that they remember me as being an English teacher who motivated them towards achieving their potential.
I am also very excited about the prospect of living in another culture, especially one as fascinating as Korean culture. I love experiencing new customs and behaviour and with the distinct history of Korea, I am sure to discover and learn many things that will shape my personality. I recently visited South East Asia and relished the opportunity to learn about the customs and history of the area. I feel that my friendly and open-minded character will be a great help to adjusting to life in Korea and immersing myself in your culture.
