I completed my Bachelors degree in Humanities at the University of Stellenbosch in 2006.
In 2008, I completed my Honors in Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch.
In 2009, I taught English in Korea. I worked at 3 schools, teaching grades 3 - 6.
My duties were preparing lessons together with my co-teachers for the set coursework.
At my main school, I also taught after-school English classes twice a week. I had to prepare my own lessons and teach the after-school class on my own. |

To whom it may concern,
I am interested in teaching English in Korea. I was an English teacher in Korea in the year 2009 and fully enjoyed the experience. I discovered a passion for putting together lessons and teaching that I never really knew existed before. I would have liked to continue on for another year in Korea, but had family commitments to attend to and therefore had to return to my country. I am now looking forward to returning to Korea and once again pursuing my new found passion.
Having taught in Korea before, I find that I have an advantage over those who have not. I know what to expect in terms of culture, food, infrastructure, etc. and will have no problems adjusting to life in Korea.
My wish is to be placed at an elementary school in Gyeonggi-do and I look forward to starting in a teaching position as soon as is possible.
