I have recently completed a B.A. in English and have taken grammar and writing courses that have allowed me to refine my writing skills. I am comfortable with the nuances of English and have taken two grammar classes including Advanced Grammar and English Grammar which focused on effective ways to explain and reinforce grammar skills in teaching situations. I have helped various college peers with writing assignments, including several International students, by peer editing, constructive criticism, and explaining difficult syntax. I am applying for a job teaching English to Korean students. I learned about this opportunity on your website, and my brother used this service to obtain a teaching position in Hanam. I have recently received my B.A. in English from Jacksonville State University.
I have completed my coursework for a degree in English. The majority of my classes have included a writing component, so I am proficient in advanced academic writing. For the past 4 years, I have completed various classes focusing on the intricacies of English grammar and usage. I have also helped many peers, including international students, with writing assignments.
As the president of Jacksonville State University's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, I have helped raise money for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Foundation. The Imagination Library sends an age-appropriate book to young children from birth to age 5, once a month for free, to encourage reading. Becoming acquainted with this foundation has helped me become interested in literacy and establishing good reading habits in children.
