Dear Sir/Madam,
I am interested in the position of English teacher, which is listed on the website. I am a US citizen, currently residing in Korea with F4 visa, teaching English conversation class for adults, business people, and college students. I was born and raised in Hawaii and New York and moved to Korea in August 2009, and have recently completed the Tesol Certificate program (California State University, Long Beach) in April 2010.
My teaching experience will demonstrate that I sincerely enjoy teaching. During my mission trip to Mexico, I had a chance to work internationally by planning and managing the arts and craft session for Sunday school students. While attending college, I taught students at a Korean language school and Sunday school. For two summer sessions in college, I have also volunteered to work at Palolo MACC and Hale to assist immigrant students with their homework and improve their computer skills. My teaching experiences at different sites also allowed me to work with a variety of ages, genders and ethnicities. As a whole, my involvement with teaching has taught me how to prepare and manage classes and encourage students to their achieve goals.
