°ÀÇ°æÇè As mentioned previously I have been working in an academy in Daegu for 9 months which has provided me with a good starting point into teaching English as a foreign language. It's now time to push on, however. I am serious about getting to the top in this field and believe that in the right institute I would flourish.

You will also see from my CV that I worked in a leisure centre with children one summer between university years. I worked with children of all ages, some of whom were disabled. This allowed me to develop my communication skills and helped me understand children on a much wider basis.
Ä¿¹ö·¹ÅÍ/À̷¼ I have been working at an academy since August 2009 teaching children between 8-16 years old but now I need a new challenge. I am interested in teaching people who WANT to learn and don't see the establishment as a social club. I am a hardworking individual who wants to get to the very top in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have excellent communication skills and am a likeable character.

Being English I am crazy about football (or soccer as you call it here!). I also like playing pool and keeping myself in shape at the gym.

From an employer I want us to sit down regularly and construct a plan of action. I would like regular feedback (positive and negative) and I want have a set of 'tangible' results laid out so we both know where we stand. It will always amaze me how employers fail to meet these basic demands (same in England) and then wonder why their employees are not motivated! It's not rocket science. We sit down. We make a plan. We execute the plan. Then we sit down again and discuss how well we did and what could be improved next month whilst ensuring we are delivering EXACTLY what the students require to do their absolute personal best on their exams. We monitor the curriculum closely and make sure that if there are any changes in criteria that we are the first to know. Then we make sure we are the best at what we do. I want to go home every night and know that I made a difference and that the standard of English for the students I taught that day is better than it was the previous day. Structure. Real Results. It's not about the money for me. I think the fact I am looking to move jobs when there are only four months to wait for my annual bonus is testament to that. It's all about job satisfaction for me. I go home happy. The employer goes home happy. The students do well on their exam so they are happy. The parents are happy as they are not wasting their money. Simple really when you think about it. Perhaps it's the Engineer coming out in me but there is no reason why it can't be that simple.
