To whom it may concern,
My name is Anh Vu and I am a native ENGLISH speaker from Australia. I am writing to apply for the position as an English teacher, South Korea as advertised on www.mycareer.com.au.
South Korea greatly interests me as it is a fusion of old world and new world culture and its movement into modern times. What I have discovered of South Korea shows me it is brimming of great culture and beauty. I look forward to seeing the many mountainous sites, historical sites and learning Korean.
I have a Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Hospitality Management from RMIT University in Melbourne. I have completed electives in grammar, Teaching English to Children, Teaching Business English/TOEIC and have commenced practical teaching placement as part of my TESOL qualification with Teach International Brisbane. I have experience working with children and coaching and training new staff members in the workplace.
I believe I will be a great asset to your classroom. I am a vibrant and energetic person with a great sense of humour and a ready smile. I am also patient, friendly and easy to work with. I look upon this as a unique opportunity to travel and immerse myself into a new culture whilst being able to contribute to the community by teaching English.
I can be contacted by email or by phone between the hours of 9am and 5pm Korean time (10am and 6pm Australian time). Please send me an email should you not be able to reach me by phone. I am available for work late September. I very much look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Anh Vu
