I hold a double honors BA degree in English and Modern Irish. After graduation I completed a 40 hour TEFL Certificate and a 20 hour TEFL Advanced Certificate in Grammar. I have taught at a hagwan for the past three years in Korea. During this time I have worked with preschool, elementary, middle school and adult students. I have experience of preparing students for exams such as PELT, JET and IBT TOEFL Bridge. I have also had to develop the school's curriculum, prepare test papers, check homework and meet completion deadlines for completing programs of study, marking test papers, writing student evaluation reports etc. I love working with children and young adults in particular and I gain great enjoyment out of helping them develop their English skills. |
