Education at Georgia State University included classes such as Methods of Teaching EFL, Phonetics and Phonology, Morphology and Syntax, Second Language Acquisition, Business Writing, Human Communication, Languages of the World, Cross-Cultural Psychology and Cross-Cultural Communications.
EFL practicum provided me with classroom applied teacher training as well as the opportunity to tutor students in English.
Spent 2 months tutoring a Vietnamese Ph.D Business student in English phonetics to improve his pronunciation capability. Shadowed a teacher in the Intensive English Language Program for 3 months as an understudy.

I would like to express my interest in an English teaching position at a public school in Korea. Throughout my education at Georgia State University I have retained the goal of teaching English in Korea and now upon graduation I feel that I am prepared for the task. I am confident that I have the training and dedication necessary to make a lasting contribution to English education in Korea.
I am impressed by Korea's national standards of education and utilization of technology, a combination which I see as a potential for tremendous national growth and I would love to be a part of that.
