Dear Hiring Manager,
I am interested in an English teaching position in the city of Seoul, South Korea, as this position would provide me with the opportunity to further develop my teaching, communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills as well as provide the opportunity to be an excellent resource young students.
I have a proven track record of teaching and explaining important and complex concepts to adult students and would like to gain valuable experience teaching kindergarten and elementary students. While teaching adult students, I maintained structure and order in the classroom as well as handled all types of situations and developed effective solutions to a wide variety of issues as they arose.
I am extremely reliable, flexible, and organized. I am also highly motivated, very friendly, and I possess high energy, all of which would translate well in the classroom. I am fully able to work independently as well as part of a group.
I possess a 4 year Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, a well known internationally recognized Canadian educational institute. I have a double major in Criminology and Political Science. I possess my original degree, two sealed transcripts, a valid passport, and a notarized criminal background check.
