EDUCATION
I studied a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics & Korean Language) at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. I have gained a certificate IV in TESOL (2001) and certificate III in Childcare & Education (1998).
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently working full-time as an English teacher for Apple Language school. I teach children aged 6-10 years, and my contract ends 26th February this year.
I have experience as an online English teacher and resource developer (2006-2008, IUC/EMC in Australia)
In addition, I have many years' experience as a private English tutor for Korean adults and children (various ages and levels), and as a childcare & kindergarten teacher. |

I am a hardworking and dedicated teacher. I have about 7 years experience teaching English to children and adults in various ways, such as private tutor, online classes, and full-time employment in a hakwon. I also have many years’ experience teaching and caring for young children as a Sunday school teachers and working in kindergartens and childcare centres.
I enjoy living in Korea and I have many Korean friends here. I also enjoy teaching English, especially to young children. I hope that my students can have fun while learning and improve their English. In addition, I hope to teach them various other things beside English to broaden their understanding of the world. |
