Dear Ma'am or Sir,
I am writing today to express my interest in teaching English at your school. I am currently teaching at an elementary school in Seoul and will finish my contract at the end of February. I am available to start working in March. I would be delighted to meet for a face-to-face interview within the next few weeks.
In this past year I have learned so much not only about teaching, but also about living in Korea, working well with others, and about improving myself as an individual and as a teacher. I have learned to use creative and effective ways to teach English grammar and conversation in ways that are engaging and exciting for my students. I have learned to use a wide variety of methods to teach students so that each student can learn in his or her own way. I have learned to have patience and enthusiasm while teaching. I try to incorporate as much as I can into each and every lesson. It has been such a joy for me to watch my students progress every day and develop not only their English skills, but their character and personality as well. I have a passion for teaching and education and I always strive to do my very best. I hope that you will consider my application.
Thank you and have a nice day!
