For my teaching experience:
I have taught at a private institute in Seoul Korea for 1 year. There I taught students grades 1-8 an intensive reading and writing curriculum that was mandatory for all teachers. I taught lessons on grammar, speech, and writing and administered quizzes and tests to my classes. Along with monthly follow ups with the parents, I also issued bi-monthly report cards evaluating student performance based on recorded results.
I have also taught Adult morning classes at Samsung station. They were beginning level English and we mostly practiced basic conversation and grammar.

Dear Hiring Manager,
My name is Kimberly Threet and I am currently seeking a teaching position in Seoul, Korea. I have have a BA in Apparel Design and Marketing and a specialized degree from the prestigious Parson's School of Design as well. I have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a great ability to entertain children while still being able to teach them.
Previously I have worked at a private institute in Seoul and found it to be very rewarding. I taught mostly elementary school students who were already high level English speakers,
to fine tune their reading, writing and grammar skills. Creating a fun learning atmosphere is imperative to getting through to young children and when you do so, they retain the information better. I am very comfortable teaching my native tongue and would love the opportunity to do so again.
I am available to start March 2010. Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Kimberly Threet
