°ÀÇ°æÇè I have worked at TTT school (Kindergarten and Elementary school hagwon) in Hawolgok-dong, Seoul, for 2 years. I have greatly enjoyed working here but I think it is time to move on to another school for a new experience.

I also had one year of teaching experience in Germany, as a teaching assistant in a German High school - from 2000 to 2001.
Ä¿¹ö·¹ÅÍ/À̷¼ Dear Sir/Madam,

It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume in consideration for the position as an ESL teacher with your school. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Language and Linguistics (2002), and I have a 20-hour TESOL certificate, which I believe shows my interest in teaching English as a foreign language, although I have not been able to do the full certification. As a highly compassionate and approachable teaching professional, with 3 years of hands-on teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of your teaching staff.
I am a 29-year-old ESL teacher, currently working at a Kindergarten/Elementary school academy (hagwon) in Hawolgok-dong, Seoul. I have worked at this school for two years, and I have had a great time teaching the students both introductory English and intermediate English – I have seen many of the students progress from being unable to speak a word of English to being able to have a basic conversation with a native speaker. Although I love working here, I feel it is time to move on to another school and have a new experience.
I have had no problems at all whilst working in my current position, I have never had any conflict with the Korean teachers or other foreign teachers I work with, and I have never taken any time off through sickness. I would say that my experience working in Korea has been a 100% positive one, and I am eager to expand my experiences by moving to a new school.
The enclosed resume will highlight my career achievements and showcase my dedication to education in recent years. I am a compassionate teacher, who remains sensitive to children¡¯s unique needs, employs effective listening, provides individual and whole group support, and offers positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated.
One of the most effective ways that I assist ESL students is by developing and presenting stimulating lesson plans that facilitate all learning styles. I research, locate, and incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate students via visual, audio, tactile, and kinaesthetic methods. In addition, I integrate literature, phonics activities, and technology to ensure that each child is able to comprehend and retain the concepts and language. My goal is to foster an open and honest, communicative and supportive classroom, in which each student feels safe, secure, special and appropriately challenged.
I would enjoy the opportunity to meet with you personally in order to discuss how my diverse skills and experience will enable me to make a valuable contribution to your school. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Brownsword
