It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my resume for consideration as an English conversation teacher. As a highly disciplined and dedicated teaching professional, I am confident in my ability to become an invaluable member of your teaching team.
The enclosed resume will highlight my teaching experience. I have taught conversation English in Korea since January 2000. I have taken the opportunity to tailor my teaching to learners of many different abilities. I am a compassionate but demanding teacher, who understands the students’ unique needs, employs effective listening, provides individual and whole group support, integrates multicultural teaching units and offers positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated.
One of the most effective ways I assist ESL students is by developing and presenting comprehensible and stimulating lesson plans that facilitate all learning styles and levels of ability. I research and incorporate many different conversation activities and many different types of materials into cohesive and productive lessons which engage the students to learn English. My goal is to create a comfortable environment of trust, mutual respect, discipline and challenge where students can achieve excellence.
