Over the past 5 years I have gained extensive experience teaching sports. I have coached across many age groups (from primary school children to adults) and levels (from beginner to international level).
In addition to this I have experience tutoring high school students. |

Dear Sir/Madam,
There are a number of reasons why I would like to travel to South Korea to teach English. I am an adventurous person looking for a change. I have just completed my Masters in Economics and after five years of third level education I am looking to undertake a new challenge. Travelling to the other side of the world to live and work presents exactly the kind of adventure I am looking for - something that I haven¡¯t seen or done before.
I am also deeply interested in learning more about a culture and way of life vastly different to the one that I know. I have lived and studied in both Ireland and the UK, and travelled extensively throughout Europe and believe I have an understanding of many different European cultures. I would like to broaden my experience however, and gain a better understanding of life in Asia and Korea. I want to learn both the similarities and differences between life there and in Ireland, and believe the best way to do that is to immerse yourself in that culture.
Furthermore, I would relish the opportunity to teach for a year. I have vast experience coaching various age groups and levels in sports, and tutoring secondary level students. I enjoy the challenge, and the subsequent satisfaction, of imparting knowledge to people in a way they will understand it. I am considering pursuing education as a career and teaching English in Korea would provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field.
Thank you for your time,
Cian Ó Móráin
