I continuously strive to encourage and enable young students
to reach their potential and beyond. This is accomplished by actively observing behavior, performance, and helping each student adapt their techniques to each of their individual
traits.
I have been blessed with the instruction and tutelage of
many fine teachers throughout both my academic and professional careers. These instructors have had a profound
influence on my life and continue to affect my teaching style in a positive way. These teachers were energetic, interesting and informative.
I feel it is my philosophy to facilitate a friendly and
supportive classroom environment where students have no fear of embarrassment, negativity or criticism which can help reduce their learning anxieties and therefore boost their learning process.
I teach in an interesting and informative manner which
facilitates learning and comprehension of ideas. I must make an effort to find out what previous experience the student has and and how to capitalize on their strengths and experiences in order to develop English abilities.
We as teachers are entrusted with the very large
responsibility of shaping the students’ minds academically and socially. This is a very important challenge that I take very seriously. I intend to follow in the footsteps of my teaching mentors. |
