I recently completed my TEFL certification at Siam Educational Experience and would like to introduce myself with the goal of finding a teaching position. My goal is to become a part of an exceptional organization that values its students, teachers and the learning process and shares a dedication to creative and effective methods for the overall growth of the students. I am looking for such an institution that provides me the opportunity to be the best I can in a positive environment.
As you can see from my attached resume, I have several years of experience teaching, 2 years experience teaching English as well as my recently acquired 120 hour TEFL teaching certificate.
I first gained experience as a teacher while volunteering for 2 1/2 years in Ukraine with the United States Peace Corps. This inspired me to further pursue teaching English in Korea this past year. My year in Korea was very fulfilling and caused me to pursue a proper TEFL certificate in order to better improve my capabilities and expand my teaching opportunities.
My degree is in film and my prior work experience in Television and Film and I use this and the rest of my varied background to bring a greater variety to my classes and better engage the students. I find that I have a natural connection with children and young adults of all ages and I like to inspire them with creative and fun lessons to make them further enjoy the English learning experience. With my experience, education and love of teaching I believe I am the perfect candidate for any future teaching position.
