I hold a BA in Asia Pacific Studies from Central Washington University. I worked as a teacher at Dari Language School in Sokcho, South Korea for five years and as a language teacher at Sokcho Lifelong Education Center in Sokcho for three years. Hello,
I have over five years experience teaching various level ESL course in Korea and I believe I am the perfect candidate for this position. Here are a few of the highlights I offer:
Five years of teaching all age groups in an after school academy. I have experience teaching all age groups and English levels ranging from young children to mature adults.
Three years of teaching adult students at Sokcho Lifelong Education Center. These classes were taught based on a first come, first serve basis so, multiples levels had to be accommodated and taught simultaneously during class time.
I am currently studying for my TESOL certification and will have it by the end of 2009.
Fluency in the Korean language plus a deep knowledge and interest in Korean culture and society. I studied Asia/Pacific Studies and came to Korea to continue my education as well as to educate others.
