To whom it may concern,
My name is Emmett Leighton; I am a citizen of New Zealand. I consider myself to be an honest outgoing person who is interested in gathering and sharing knowledge. My goals are to pursue life to the fullest and create stable working relationships both professional and personal.
For the past three years I have been working and studying in South Korea and have completed my Masters at Korea University. My employment consisted of English language instruction to students of all ages in both public and private settings. This employment afforded the finance to further my education. Though my education covered a wide and varied spectrum, policy analysis has played a major role in my study as my major during post-graduate study was International Relations and my undergraduate at Canterbury University, New Zealand was Political Science. These experiences have provided me with a great deal of knowledge in many areas, which I now intend to apply to any opportunity presented to me.
In addition my work experience in the retail sector, at David Jones Department Store in Australia, has given me excellent customer service capability and problem solving skills. I was initially employed as a trainee but over the two year period of my employment, due to my abilities I was promoted twice to sales assistant and finally assistant manager of my department.
My experiences have taught me to work well in a team environment; in addition given me the ability to set and achieve goals as well as accomplish any task using my own initiative. I can manage my time well and am able to address any assignment or problem and overcome it
