I have earned a degree in English/ linguistics from the University of Guam in Spring of 2008. I have taught for 13 months (October 2008 – November 2009) in Yong-in, South Korea. I taught students between the ages of 5 – 7 in the mornings and ages 7 – 10 in the afternoons. I was responsible for carrying out classes in Science, Math, and English. My base pay was 2.3 million Won.

My name is Jeff Byrd. I am a 28 year old male and I am currently in America. I am half Korean and I have an F-4 visa. I do not speak Korean. I am a motivated well-groomed person who enjoys teaching. I did not have a Korean teacher in my previous class which I believe help me grow as a teacher and find the methods that work. With my one year experience, I have learned a great deal on how to produce and follow class schedules and to be in control of whatever situations may occur.
