I worked as an instructor to young adults with mental disabilities. I created lesson plans for teaching them budgeting skills, reading, writing and social behavior. I have also been a nanny for 3 families where I facilitated after school activities including assisting with homework, arts and crafts, and making dinner. Until I heard about your program I was going to return to my old position teaching young adults with mental disabilities. |

ESL Agent is a known, reputable company that truly seems to care about their employees. I am writing this letter for the purpose of pursuing a teaching job in Seoul (# 5 Bangi Station) for Mid- February 2010. I first learned about ESL agent through a friend, Alison Spor, who has been accepted for a similar position. I have looked into other teaching abroad companies and found yours to be the most encouraging and direct.
I have received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Communication and am skilled in conflict management, non-verbal cues, communities and intercultural communication. I have been an instructor to young adults with mental disabilities, teaching them money skills, reading comprehension and writing skills. After graduation I have plans of returning to a similar position however South Korea has caught my eye. Along with developing strong relationships with three different families, I personally worked with their children, facilitating after school care along with daily activities. I am always open to new learning experiences and would be more than welcome to travel. I have had the chance to travel abroad and explore new cultures and different communities.
