I would like to be considered for your public school position teaching English in South Korea.
I have taught English in Seoul from October, 2008 - October 2009 working for YBM ECC. I have since acquired many valuable teaching and classroom management skills and feel I would be an asset at your school. I am currently enrolled in a TESOL/TEFL program that should be completed in December, 09. I graduated from York University in 2003 with a B.A. in Business and Society. Since then I have worked for two large insurance companies and have excelled in my position as an underwriter with each company. I have been able to advance in my career through my demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure. I have experience training new employees and conducting internal audits at while I was employed at TD Insurance. I enjoyed both duties and have experience training brokers on how to use the internet quoting system. I was comfortable presenting this material in front of a large audience and feel these are valuable skills I can transfer over to teaching.
I look forward to hearing from you with regards to your future opportunities and I am very excited at the prospect of teaching English for a second year in South Korea.
Regards,
Johnathan Hicks |
