To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Nicholas Comeau, and I currently reside in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I have two years of teaching experience in Seoul, Korea, and I am looking forward to returning soon so I continue teaching, learning and experiencing.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I have always been interested in languages and teaching, and have a thorough knowledge of English. I am conversant, to a small degree, in French, and have also begun learning Korean.
While in university, I assisted foreign students with improving their English skills, aiding in general conversation and grammar instruction as well as in the pronunciation of certain words and sounds. It was an enjoyable and worthwhile endeavor, and prepared me well for teaching in Korea.
During my time in Korea, I taught at two kindergartens and instructed children, aged four to thirteen, on a variety of subjects, including language arts, grammar and conversation. I was responsible for their learning and improvement, as well as their safety and general well-being.
I believe I would be a suitable candidate for the teaching position. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Nicholas Comeau
