I have teaching experience with all age levels and many situations on three continents. I have been living in Korea for a while now and am acclimated to the culture, expectations, and structure here. I am flexible, hardworking, and dedicated, and will make a great addition to your school.
I recently graduated from University of California at Los Angeles with a BA in history. While there, I worked at tutoring and teaching positions of every age group in many different settings, including wealthy areas as well as South Central Los Angeles, one of the poorest and most troubled areas in the United States. I also taught abroad, with the help of translators, in Tanzania, Africa, as part of a non-governmental organization, until I learned the language. With these jobs I gained a great deal of experience teaching in different areas and with different groups of people and challenges.
