I have just completed a 3 year Degree in Geography and also a TEFL course. I have experience with children of all ages am my Mother owns a childcare centre and I have always helped out during my free time. This has helped me learn how to interact with children of all ages. I also have school teaching experience which I did for 1 month while I was in High school. I enjoyed this thoroughly and learnt how to draw up lesson plans and maintain class control. Along with these I have ESL summer camp experience which I voluntered at during my vacation from University. |

I am a 25-year-old graduate of the National University of Ireland in Maynooth – where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography.
I now wish to travel to Korea to teach English. I have recently finished a 40-hour TEFL course and believe it puts me in good stead to teach English as a foreign language.
I have previously visited Korea four times – in 2003, 2005 2007 and 2008. I was visiting my sister who is married to a Korean and lives in Seoul. There I fell in love with Korea’s culture, people and food! I also experienced many different aspects of Korean life, from the hustle and bustle of Seoul to the peace and tranquility of Andong, and enjoyed each one immensely. I am really looking forward to living in Korea.
I have great experience with children as my mother runs a children’s day care center at our home and I have always helped during my free time. This center has been up and running since I was a child so I have learnt how to interact with children of all ages and believe this will benefit me greatly. Growing up surrounded by children has made me passionate about working with them.
I am a committed, intelligent individual with very good interpersonal skills. Should I be given the opportunity to commence teaching in Korea, I will undertake to work hard, show loyalty and do everything in my power to repay the faith my employer will show me by offering me a position.
