Dear Human Resources Director
A career in the teaching English as a foreign language has always been a goal of mine. It is my hope to continue my career with ESL Agent.
I am confident that I will excel in this position because of my prior experience of teaching all ages, multitasking, and time management. Over the last year, I learned to adapt different styles of teaching to the age level. As an English teacher, I have learned to have plenty of examples to show the children. During reading, the students were asked different questions about what was going on in the story and if they had ever experienced something like what the characters were going through. As I was teaching the students, I was also working on answer keys and essay examples for the students to have references to. Time management is a key to succeeding in a classroom. I usually would split the class into several parts: reading, grammar, and review. I found that the students usually benefited from the review of previous lessons.
My ultimate career goal is to teach at a college level for ESL. It is an area that will benefit from my prior experience, multitasking, and time management. An opportunity to continue my career with ESL Agent is definitely a step in the right direction.
