My name is Kathryn and my friend Catherine and I are looking for teaching jobs together. We taught at YBM ECC at different locations in Seoul last year. We've been back in Canada for a few months, and are looking to go back to Seoul to teach with a contract starting in September.
We are both qualified teachers with B.A. degrees and Catherine have a TEFL certificate as well. We would like to work and live in central Seoul if possible, and enjoy working with younger children (kinder/elementary preferred but will do middle/high school if the contract is desirable). We would like to work at the same or similar schools that are close by. We would like to be able to travel together on vacations and what not, this is why we'd like the same school or similar schools! We also would love to live in separate apartments in the same building, no shared housing. We had a great experience our first year working in Korea , but now that we have experience and know what kinds of jobs are out there we have a good idea of what we are looking for. We have recently received a job offer paying 2.4 monthly, so this is where we are setting our standard and ideally we would like to have at least 2 full weeks of paid vacation (not single days here and there). We are most interested in afternoon shifts, but are willing to work mornings if the rest of the contract fits our needs. |
