To whom it may concern:
My name is Michael Proud. I am very excited about the opportunity to teach English in Seoul. Since graduating from college in 2000, I¡¯ve worked in various sales related roles. It wasn¡¯t until I substitute taught elementary, middle, and high school students that I discovered my calling in life. The six months that I was a substitute teacher showed me how rewarding it is to help with a child¡¯s development. I have an uncanny ability to build rapport with all different age groups of children, and am open to teach at any level.
With a mother being of Korean decent and having family that currently lives in Korea, it was easy to decide that teaching abroad in Korea would be the right choice to gain international teaching and cultural experience.
Included is my resume for your review. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
I know that I will be an asset to any school in Seoul, and I look forward to demonstrating that to my colleagues and boss.
Sincerely,
Michael Proud
